Drop Garlic Cheese Biscuits

Garlic Cheese Biscuits

Put 1 T. Lemon Juice into a 1 Cup measuring cup. Fill Cup to top with Milk. Set aside for 5 minutes so milk can "sour".

Preheat Oven to 400.

In large bowl mix together Flour, Baking Powder, Sugar, Baking Soda, Salt & Garlic. Using a pastry cutter or two butter knives, cut shortening into flour mixture until it resembles fine crumbs.

Make a well in the center of flour mixture and pour soured milk in all at once. Mix until soft dough forms. Add Grated Cheese and mix well.

Drop the biscuits by heaping tablespoon onto cookie sheet instead.

Bake on ungreased cookie sheet until light brown (about 10 minutes).
