Now that Watermelon Season is over, guess what you can find at the shop? Farm Fresh, Local Pumpkins & bundles of Corn Stalks Super affordable & a great way to welcome Fall!

When you come in to see all the new Fall Products we've added, discover a wide variety of unique, affordable gifts for any occasion or person (including yourself)! You're going to find locally made, hand-crafted beard oil, lotions, car freshies, Soy Candles, Soy Wax Melts, Room Spray, Bath Bombs, Shower Steamers, Foot and Body Cream, Scrubs, Cuticle Oil & Decor. Whew! That's not to mention our selection of plush, kitchen items, suncatchers, collectibles, signs, knick knacks, nostalgic candies, incense & so much more!

It's a work in progress but we're starting to kick off our ebay store too. There will always be perks and incentives to shop in-store, but this is a great alternative if you're not able to. Take a peek here .

A Look Ahead

I'm not sure if it's a blessing or a curse that my ADHD brain runs on caffeine and chaos, but the ideas are never in short supply! So many new & exciting things hitting the shop & website for the Holidays!

Upcoming Events

We have made the difficult decision to do a very limited number of shows & events this holiday season. It's not a choice we're happy with, but our reality is there are way too many serious health issues happening right now that impede our ability to do these events without help. So we are just doing a couple where we have the help we need to pull it off.

The first of these events is this weekend at Pleasant Ridge Grange The Grange is located at 18514 Upper Pleasant Ridge Rd between Caldwell & Greenleaf. It is taking place on Saturday 10/10 from 10-4 & on Sunday (10/11) from 10-2. Lots of fun vendors & delicious Cinnamon Rolls on Saturday, Breakfast Burritos on Sunday. This is one of our favorite events and we'd love to see you there!

On Saturday 10/17, you'll find us open extended hours for Notus' Harvest Festival & Car Show. It's a great excuse to take the drive out and check our small town!

Who are we?

Kim is the "mix master" behind all of our Kandles & Wax Melts, the brain and designer of Butterfly Kisses Lotion, creator of ultra moisturizing Bath & Body Products, the mad scientist behind our Men's line, primary purchasing for all the new merchandise, the web master and about a million other things all at once.

Renee has been hard at work cranking out more Kitchen Scrubbies & Trivets! (Funny, she doesn't want yarn for Christmas this year!) Did you know she has well over 50 years experience in floral, balloons, decor and every other creative endeavor you can imagine?

Randy is the man behind our amazing and popular Car Freshies, the room sprays, air fresheners and the collectibles. He's procured some awesome garage memorabilia including from when his parents operated the garage. His various beer, Pepsi, Coke classics and selection of collectibles are unique and desirable.

Vance is a man of many ideas and he loves to see those come to life. His disabilities & Cancer greatly limit what he can physically do, but on those "good days", you'll find him puttering around the shop or see him waving to passing cars on the highway. Sometimes he's out there with a sign and wild clothing to get your attention. If you see him, wave back & honk to show support of local businesses in Notus, Idaho.

What is The Notus Garage?

The Historic Notus Garage has been in Kim's family since her grandparents bought it in 1938. Originally a Wescott Oil Station, it would convert to a Conoco Station in the 40's. Kim's Grandpa, Lewis, was the only full-time, full-service mechanic in Notus (there were 7 Gas Stations at one point) & her Grandma, Helen, pumped gas and established what we'd call a "convenience store" today. Lewis passed in 1964, but you'll still find some of his treasures and keepsakes in the shop. Helen would continue to pump gas into the late 1970's/early 1980's (until gas was over $1 a gallon - the pumps didn't go above a dollar) to her loyal and much-loved customers. Over the years it has never been without a family run business of some kind in it, whether that be a retail store, a warehouse, production or a wholesale business. Kim is the third generation of Taylor's (with help from the 4th generation) to operate a business out of the Garage.

The Notus Garage is our primary brick and mortar location. We have joined cooperatively to help grow Notus' non-traditional businesses. This closed agreement will help to ensure quality products, including holiday decor, art, floral, balloons, and collectibles not limited to antiques.

Just to put this out there, (it's a question we get several times a week) we do NOT take in other consignment items.
