Preheat oven to 350
Place sliced Butter in a Cobbler Dish, a Deep Dish Pie Pan, a 9-inch Square Pan, 10-inch Cast Iron Skillet or any 2.5 quart Baking Dish. Set dish in oven while it's pre-heating so butter can melt.
While butter is melting, whisk Flour, Sugar, Baking Powder & Salt together. Stir in Milk & Little Bulldog's Pure Vanilla Extract until batter is smooth.
Remove dish from oven and place Cherries* in bottom of dish evenly & carefully. (Remember, it's hot!) Pour batter evenly over top of Cherries.*
Place on a Cookie Sheet (to catch any potential overflow) and bake for 55-60 minutes. Cobbler is done when a toothpick inserted into the center of it comes out clean.
*Any fresh or frozen fruit can be used in place of cherries.
